Fishing Report: JULY 20, 2010 Weather has been great with just some patchy showers here and there. Reports are coming in ever day and they have been very well. Most anglers are saying that gold and bright colored spinners are working well with crawlers and leaches. Lot of them are reporting walleye out in 29 - 31 feet out on the mud flats. Also jigging out on the 5, 12, 16 mile reefs have been very well using a brighter colored jigs with minnows and leaches. Rigging using purple or a clown colored rapala has been on fire, brighter the better. Springsteel Resort Access: Springsteel has reported good numbers of walleye being caught out at Whiskey Flats. Down Rigging pulling brighter #5 Rapala's is doing well from 28-31 ft. Good luck fishing and be safe from "Springsteel Resort".
Zippel Bay Resort Access: Zipple is reporting great fishing in 29-31ft. Anglers have been bringing in some great walleye from out at the rocks and on the mud flat areas.

Long Point Resort: Jigging out at Twin Islands is still great. Anglers that have been using gold spinners with crawlers and leaches are doing well.
